Beer Bread!

Beer Bread!
I’ve never heard of this and I made it today. Cheap and yummy. Keep in mind I don’t like beer and this didn’t taste like it at all. So for those who haven’t tried it or heard of it…. ENJOY!
2 Cups flour (some suggest self rising)
12oz bottle/can of any flavor beer. Suggests warm/room temp but mine was super cold and turned out great. Light beer=less beer flavor, dark beer=more prominent beer flavor. Some highly suggest a pickled flavor beer
Mix flour and beer (NO RISING NECESSARY), pour into buttered bread pan and bake. Bread will fall right out of the pan
Cook 375 degrees for 50 minutes in a sprayed/buttered bread pan!
***Edit***
– this was my first time ever making this so there are some great suggestions below on how to make it better
-self rising flour is a common suggestion but I used what I had
-coors light was the only beer my husband would share (since he doesn’t really care for it)
-room temp beer is supposedly best but mine was out of the fridge so obviously cold
– had the flavor of an English muffin without adding extras, cheese, spices etc
-instead of beer you can use soda, still 12oz
– the beer does cook out
