Crispy Sausage and Green Beans with Ranch Seasoning
Ingredients:
- 1 package of link sausage (Chapel Hill or Slovacek’s preferred)
- 2 cans of green beans, drained (or use fresh green beans, trimmed)
- 1-2 tablespoons ranch seasoning (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
- Slice and Cook the Sausage:
- Slice the link sausage into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium-high heat until crispy, stirring occasionally to ensure even browning. This may take about 7-10 minutes.
- Prepare the Green Beans:
- While the sausage is cooking, drain the canned green beans completely. If using fresh green beans, trim the ends.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Once the sausage is crispy, reduce the heat to medium.
- Add the drained green beans to the skillet with the sausage.
- Sprinkle in the ranch seasoning. Start with 1 tablespoon, taste, and add more if desired, up to 2 tablespoons.
- Add Butter and Cook:
- Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet.
- Stir everything together until the butter is melted and the green beans are warmed through, about 3-5 minutes.
- Serve:
- Serve immediately as a snack or meal. This dish can be enjoyed on its own or as a side.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave before serving.
Enjoy your crispy sausage and green beans with a delicious ranch flavor!
