Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta
Ingredients:
- 1 (12 oz.) bottle of Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce
- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz. cream cheese, cut into blocks
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 12 oz. pasta (your choice of shape, such as penne, rotini, or fettuccine)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Crockpot:
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot in a single layer.
- Add the Sauce:
- Pour the entire bottle of Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce over the chicken, making sure the chicken is well-coated.
- Use the Sauce Bottle for Milk:
- Fill the empty Parmesan Garlic Sauce bottle with 1 cup of milk. Secure the lid and shake well to ensure any remaining sauce is mixed with the milk.
- Pour the milk and sauce mixture into the crockpot.
- Add Cream Cheese:
- Cut the 8 oz. block of cream cheese into smaller blocks or chunks and add them to the crockpot.
- Add Parmesan Cheese:
- Sprinkle the 1 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese over the ingredients in the crockpot.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Gently stir all the ingredients together in the crockpot to combine and ensure the chicken is fully coated with the sauce mixture.
- Cook:
- Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 2-3 hours. The cooking time may vary slightly depending on your crockpot’s heat settings and the thickness of the chicken breasts. The chicken should be tender and fully cooked through.
- Shred the Chicken:
- Once the chicken is cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the crockpot. Stir the shredded chicken into the sauce to combine well.
- Cook the Pasta:
- About 20 minutes before the chicken is done, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta.
- Combine Pasta and Sauce:
- Add the cooked and drained pasta to the crockpot. Stir well to combine the pasta with the chicken and sauce.
- Serve:
- Serve the Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta hot. You can garnish with extra shredded Parmesan cheese or chopped fresh parsley if desired.
