Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12 oz.) bottle of Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce
  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, cut into blocks
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 12 oz. pasta (your choice of shape, such as penne, rotini, or fettuccine)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crockpot:
    • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot in a single layer.
  2. Add the Sauce:
    • Pour the entire bottle of Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce over the chicken, making sure the chicken is well-coated.
  3. Use the Sauce Bottle for Milk:
    • Fill the empty Parmesan Garlic Sauce bottle with 1 cup of milk. Secure the lid and shake well to ensure any remaining sauce is mixed with the milk.
    • Pour the milk and sauce mixture into the crockpot.
  4. Add Cream Cheese:
    • Cut the 8 oz. block of cream cheese into smaller blocks or chunks and add them to the crockpot.
  5. Add Parmesan Cheese:
    • Sprinkle the 1 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese over the ingredients in the crockpot.
  6. Combine Ingredients:
    • Gently stir all the ingredients together in the crockpot to combine and ensure the chicken is fully coated with the sauce mixture.
  7. Cook:
    • Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 2-3 hours. The cooking time may vary slightly depending on your crockpot’s heat settings and the thickness of the chicken breasts. The chicken should be tender and fully cooked through.
  8. Shred the Chicken:
    • Once the chicken is cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the crockpot. Stir the shredded chicken into the sauce to combine well.
  9. Cook the Pasta:
    • About 20 minutes before the chicken is done, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta.
  10. Combine Pasta and Sauce:
    • Add the cooked and drained pasta to the crockpot. Stir well to combine the pasta with the chicken and sauce.
  11. Serve:
    • Serve the Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta hot. You can garnish with extra shredded Parmesan cheese or chopped fresh parsley if desired.
