Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 bottle (12 oz) Parmesan Garlic Sauce
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz cream cheese, cut into blocks
- 4 oz shredded or grated Parmesan cheese
- 12 oz pasta (user used 16 oz pasta)
- Salt and pepper to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Slow Cooker:
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add Sauce:
- Pour the entire bottle of Parmesan Garlic Sauce over the chicken.
- Add Milk:
- Fill the empty Parmesan Garlic Sauce bottle with milk, shake well to get any remaining sauce, and pour the milk into the slow cooker.
- Add Cream Cheese and Parmesan:
- Add the blocks of cream cheese.
- Sprinkle 4 oz of shredded or grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Stir everything together to combine and coat the chicken evenly.
- Cook the Chicken:
- Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 3-4 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Shred the Chicken:
- Once the chicken is cooked, use two forks to shred it directly in the slow cooker.
- Mix the shredded chicken back into the sauce to combine well.
- Cook the Pasta:
- While the chicken finishes cooking, prepare the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and set aside.
- Combine Pasta and Chicken:
- Add the cooked pasta to the slow cooker with the chicken and sauce.
- Stir well to combine everything thoroughly, ensuring the pasta is well-coated with the sauce.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve the pasta warm.
