Hamburger Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 12 oz package of egg noodles
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (14.75 oz) cream-style corn
- 1 can of water (use one of the empty soup cans)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite blend)
- Non-stick cooking spray (like Pam)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the Beef Mixture:
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and chopped bell pepper to the skillet.
- Continue cooking until the onion is translucent and the bell pepper is tender.
- Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- Cook the Egg Noodles:
- While the beef mixture is cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the egg noodles and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the noodles and return them to the pot.
- Combine Ingredients:
- To the pot with the cooked noodles, add the can of cream of chicken soup, the can of cream of mushroom soup, the can of cream-style corn, and the can of water.
- Stir well to combine.
- Add the browned beef mixture to the pot and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir everything together until evenly mixed.
- Prepare the Casserole:
- Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pour the noodle and beef mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Bake the Casserole:
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
- Add the Cheese:
- After 40-45 minutes, remove the foil from the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Return the dish to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve:
- Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of garlic powder, paprika, or your favorite seasonings to the beef mixture while it cooks.
