Parmesan Garlic Pizza Rolls
Ingredients:
- 1 bag of frozen pizza rolls (any brand or flavor you like)
- 3-4 tbsp butter (or more, depending on how many pizza rolls you’re making)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1-2 tsp of pre-minced garlic)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (or more, to taste)
- 1 tsp dried basil (or substitute with oregano or Italian seasoning if you prefer)
- Optional: Red pepper flakes or parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pizza rolls:
- Air Fryer Method: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F. Place pizza rolls in a single layer in the basket. Cook for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Oven Method: Preheat your oven to 425°F. Spread pizza rolls in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until crispy and golden.
2. Prepare the garlic butter:
- While the pizza rolls are cooking, melt 3-4 tablespoons of butter in a microwave-safe bowl (about 20-30 seconds).
- Stir in the minced garlic and return to the microwave for an additional 10-15 seconds to infuse the butter with garlic flavor. You can also cook the garlic butter on the stovetop for more depth of flavor.
3. Toss the pizza rolls:
- Once the pizza rolls are done, place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the garlic butter over the pizza rolls, tossing them gently to coat evenly.
4. Add Parmesan and seasonings:
- Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the pizza rolls, tossing again to ensure every roll gets some cheesy goodness.
- Finish with a sprinkle of dried basil or your preferred seasoning.
5. Serve and enjoy:
- For an extra kick, garnish with red pepper flakes for some heat, or add a touch of chopped parsley for color.
- Serve the Parmesan Garlic Pizza Rolls immediately, while they’re still hot and crispy.
Tips & Variations:
- Cheesy Upgrade: If you’re feeling extra indulgent, sprinkle some shredded mozzarella over the pizza rolls and pop them under the broiler for a couple of minutes until melted.
- Garlic Lovers: If you really love garlic, you can sauté the garlic in a pan until golden for a deeper flavor before adding it to the butter.
- Dip Ideas: Serve with marinara sauce, ranch, or even garlic aioli for dipping!
This is a quick and easy upgrade to standard pizza rolls that’ll be a hit for snacking, game day, or casual meals. They’re perfect for when you want something fun and flavorful!
