These Philly Cheesesteak Nachos bring together the best of classic cheesesteak flavors with crispy, cheesy nacho vibes. Perfect for a quick, crowd-pleasing dinner or a game day treat!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb shaved steak (Kroger brand beef shaved steak or similar)
  • 1 tsp Sazon all-purpose seasoning
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • Tortilla chips (about 1 bag; choose your favorite brand)
  • 6 oz queso cheese loaf (Kroger brand or Velveeta-style), diced
  • 1/4 cup milk (or more for desired queso consistency)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Meat & Vegetables:
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a little oil (optional).
  • Season the shaved steak with sazon, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Add the steak, sliced onion, and bell peppers to the skillet, cooking for about 6-8 minutes or until the steak is browned and the veggies are tender. Stir occasionally to combine flavors evenly.
  1. Make the Queso Cheese Sauce:
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, add the diced queso cheese and splash of milk.
  • Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until melted and smooth. Add a bit more milk if the queso is too thick, and continue to stir until desired consistency is reached.
  1. Assemble the Nachos:
  • Spread a layer of tortilla chips on a large serving plate or platter.
  • Spoon the meat and vegetable mixture evenly over the chips.
  • Drizzle the warm queso sauce generously over the nachos.
  1. Serve and Enjoy:
  • Serve hot, with extra toppings like chopped green onions, jalapeños, or even a dollop of sour cream if you’d like!

These Philly Cheesesteak Nachos are a delicious fusion of two classic comfort foods—perfectly seasoned, cheesy, and so satisfying!
