Quick, Easy & Cheap Pizza Bubble Bake
Ingredients:
- 2 cans refrigerated biscuits (16.3 oz each)
- 16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 jars pizza sauce (23.5 oz each)
- Your choice of toppings (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, olives, etc.)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the Baking Dish:
- Lightly spray a 9×13-inch casserole dish or pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Prepare the Biscuits:
- Open the cans of refrigerated biscuits and separate them.
- Using a knife or kitchen scissors, cut each biscuit into quarters.
- Layer the Biscuits:
- Place the quartered biscuit pieces evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Add the Sauce:
- Pour the pizza sauce over the biscuits. Be sure to pour the sauce evenly, ensuring it gets between the biscuit pieces to coat them well.
- Add the Cheese:
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce-covered biscuits.
- Add the Toppings:
- Add your choice of pizza toppings on top of the cheese. Spread them out evenly for a well-distributed bake.
- Bake:
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.
- Bake, uncovered, for 40-45 minutes. If your biscuit pieces overlap significantly, it may take closer to 45 minutes. The dish is done when the biscuits are cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Cut into squares and enjoy!
Tip: For an extra crispy top, you can place the dish under the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes of baking, but keep a close eye to avoid burning.
