These Sausage Muffins are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast option that combines savory sausage with cheesy goodness, all in a portable muffin form.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of Bisquick (or any pancake and baking mix)
  • 1 lb cooked sausage (breakfast sausage, crumbled and drained)
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese blend)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
  • Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Make sure the oven is fully preheated before you start baking the muffins.
  1. Cook the Sausage:
  • In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until it’s fully browned and crumbled. Use a spatula to break up the sausage as it cooks. Once cooked, transfer the sausage to a plate lined with paper towels to drain the excess grease.
  1. Prepare the Muffin Batter:
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, Bisquick, shredded Cheddar cheese, and beaten eggs. Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well incorporated. The batter will be thick and chunky.
