S’mores Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 package of Baker’s Corner Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix (from Aldi)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) of salted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup of mini marshmallows (available in Aldi’s baking aisle)
- 1 cup of graham cracker crumbs (you can crush graham crackers from Aldi if needed)
- 1 cup of chocolate chips (Baker’s Corner or Aldi’s store brand)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). - Prepare Cookie Dough:
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate chip cookie mix with the softened butter and the egg. Mix until the dough comes together, following the instructions on the cookie mix package.
- Add S’mores Ingredients:
- Gently fold in the mini marshmallows, graham cracker crumbs, and chocolate chips into the cookie dough. Make sure everything is evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Shape Cookies:
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The centers may still look slightly soft; they will firm up as they cool.
- Cool:
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Tips:
- For a gooier texture, add a few extra marshmallows on top of the cookies before baking.
- Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
