Super Easy and Soft Cake Cookies
These cake cookies are incredibly easy to make and can be customized with your favorite cake mix and add-ins. Perfect for a quick treat, they are soft, delicious, and sure to please!
Ingredients:
- 1 box of cake mix (any flavor of your choice)
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- Optional add-ins:
- M&Ms
- Chocolate chips (white, milk, dark, or semi-sweet)
- Nuts
- Sprinkles
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.
- Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Stir until the ingredients are well combined and form a dough.
- Add Your Favorite Mix-ins: Once the dough is mixed, fold in your choice of add-ins. For example:
- For strawberry cake mix, add white chocolate chips.
- For white cake mix, add M&Ms. Aim for about 1 cup of add-ins, but you can adjust this based on your preference.
- Form the Cookies: Using a spoon or a cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Space them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
- Bake the Cookies: Bake in the preheated oven for about 9 minutes, or until the edges are set and the cookies are lightly golden. The centers may look slightly undercooked, but they will continue to set as they cool.
- Cool the Cookies: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
