Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven

  4. Coat the Pecans
    • Add the pecan halves to the bowl with the egg white mixture. Stir gently but thoroughly to ensure all the pecans are evenly coated.
  5. Add the Sugar Coating
    • Transfer the coated pecans into the ziplock bag with the sugar mixture. Seal the bag and shake well, ensuring each pecan is evenly coated with the sugar mixture.
  6. Spread on the Baking Sheet
    • Dump the pecans from the bag onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread them out into an even layer, ensuring they aren’t clumped together for even cooking.
  7. Bake
    • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 1 hour, stirring the pecans every 20 minutes. Stirring ensures they cook evenly and prevents burning.
  8. Cool and Enjoy
