Creamy Langostino Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb langostino tails, thawed (place in a colander and run cold water over them for approximately 5 minutes)
  • 1 lb pasta (linguine or your preferred type)
  • 1 can or container of lobster bisque soup (available at Walmart)
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Onion powder, to taste
  • Parsley, to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter
  • A drizzle of olive oil
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for topping

Directions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
  • Once the pasta is cooked, drain it but do not rinse. You want to keep the pasta hot so it can absorb the flavors better.
  1. Prepare the Sauce:
  • While the pasta is still hot, stir in the lobster bisque soup. Mix thoroughly so the pasta is evenly coated with the creamy soup.
  1. Prepare the Langostino Tails:
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add a drizzle of olive oil to the melted butter to prevent it from burning and to add extra flavor.
  • Season the thawed langostino tails generously with garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley.
  • Once the skillet is hot and the butter is fully melted, add the seasoned langostino tails.
  1. Cook the Langostino Tails:
  • Sauté the langostino tails for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are heated through and lightly golden. Be careful not to overcook them, as they are already cooked and just need to be heated.
  1. Combine the Ingredients:
  • Add the cooked langostino tails, along with the butter and oil from the skillet, into the pasta mixture.
  • Gently toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated with the sauce and the langostino tails are evenly distributed.
  1. Serve:
  • Transfer the creamy langostino pasta to serving plates.
  • Top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and an extra sprinkle of parsley for garnish.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your deliciously creamy seafood pasta!
