Ingredients:
- 1 pack (24 buns) Hawaiian rolls
- 1 pound fresh deli ham (honey ham recommended)
- 3/4 pound fresh deli Swiss cheese (Provolone can be used as an alternative)
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the Buns:
- Carefully slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the individual rolls attached to each other.
- Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
- Make the Butter Mixture:
- Melt the stick of butter in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl.
- Once melted, stir in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning until well combined.
- Assemble the Sliders:
- Brush half of the butter mixture evenly over the cut side of the bottom half of the buns.
- Layer half of the ham over the buttered buns, ensuring even coverage.
- Add a layer of cheese slices on top of the ham.
- Repeat with another layer of ham, followed by another layer of cheese.
- Top the Sliders:
- Place the top half of the buns over the assembled layers.
- Brush the remaining butter mixture over the top of the buns, ensuring they are well coated.
- Bake the Sliders:
- Cover the sliders with aluminum foil to prevent the tops from burning.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the tops of the buns are golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let the sliders cool for a few minutes before slicing them into individual pieces.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
