Sugar Cookie Fudge Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 bag (12 oz) of white chocolate chips
- 1 stick (½ cup) of unsalted butter
- 1 bag (approx. 17.5 oz) of sugar cookie mix
- Sprinkles (for decoration)
Equipment:
- Medium-sized saucepan
- Wooden spoon or silicone spatula
- 9×9 inch baking pan
- Parchment paper
- Non-stick cooking spray
- Mixing bowls
- Measuring spoons
Instructions:
- Prepare the Baking Pan:
- Line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal later.
- Lightly spray the parchment paper with non-stick cooking spray to ensure easy removal of the fudge.
- Melt the Ingredients:
- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate chips, and butter.
- Place the saucepan over low heat.
- Stir Constantly:
- Stir the mixture continuously with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula to prevent the chocolate from burning and to ensure even melting.
- Cook on low heat for about 5-10 minutes, or until the mixture is smooth and all the white chocolate chips are fully melted.
- Add the Sugar Cookie Mix:
- Once the mixture is smooth, remove the saucepan from the heat.
- Gradually add the sugar cookie mix to the melted chocolate mixture, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Continue to stir until the sugar cookie mix is fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth again.
- Pour into the Baking Pan:
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan.
- Use a spatula to spread the mixture evenly and smooth out the top.
- Add Sprinkles:
- Generously sprinkle your choice of sprinkles over the top of the fudge. This adds a festive touch and a bit of crunch.
- Chill:
- Place the baking pan in the refrigerator and let the fudge chill for at least 2 hours, or until it is firm.
- Cut and Serve:
- Once the fudge is fully set, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge out of the baking pan.
- Place the fudge on a cutting board and use a sharp knife to cut it into squares.
- Store:
- Store the sugar cookie fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Enjoy your delicious and festive sugar cookie fudge!
